Several decades after starting his career rockin' in the 80s, saxophonist and keyboardist D.S. Wilson has developed into a steady Smooth Jazz hitmaker over the past several years while working with top genre artist/producers Adam Hawley, Steve Oliver and Jeff Carruthers. Since releasing his third album SKYLINE in 2023, the prolific multi-talented artist has been laying the groundwork for his upcoming full length METAMORPHOSIS album with six poppin' advance singles, including his latest brass-fired, melodically fanciful and funkified gem "Finish Line." Wilson complements his alternately silky and punchy lead sax lines and bright horn textures with a tasty, elegant piano solo over the tight grooves of bassist Cornelius Mims, drummer Eric Valentine and legendary percussionist Lenny Castro.
